OSTEOINTEGRATED IMPLANT

The prosthetic structure comprised three implants positioned vertically and parallel to each other

Each implant, which was made in titanium alloy with Young's modulus of 100000 MPa (shown in blue), has a diameter of 3.5 mm and is 10 mm long.
The possibility of full osteointegration was hypothesised: as can be seen from the section shown in Fig.5, the implant is completely surrounded by a 1-mm thick shell of cortical bone.
